Sagwitch Basin boys
You’ll enjoy kicking up your heels to the music of the Sagwitch Basin Boys. Their name comes because they all live close by and have hiked to and camped at Sagwitch Basin, a geographic feature in south Cache Valley where Chief Sagwitch and his band of NW Shoshone’s sometimes camped. They share their music at various local events including an annual Barn dance, Paradise Trout and Berry Days, and the Cowboy Rendezvous. Current band members include Chris Mortensen, bass, guitar, and vocals, Jake Major, bass and vocals, Dale Major, guitar and vocals, Erin Stott, vocals and fiddle, and Zan Summers, drums. Don’t be surprised if other featured musicians from the Cowboy Rendezvous join them during the Cowboy Family Dance. Where else can you bring your whole family, dance a waltz with dad or the two step with mom or your sister in a wholesome western setting? Dust off your boots and come shine a belt buckle! You won’t be disappointed. analogcowboy@yahoo.com
