Eli Barsi & John Cunningham

Eli Barsi is Award winning Songwriter, Musician, Recording Artist as well, Painting Artist and new Author from the prairies of southeastern Saskatchewan Canada. Her rhythmic western roots music is layered with an undeniable clear vocal, melodic yodelling and ‘Carter Scratch ‘style of lead acoustic guitar. She has spent a lifetime of writing & playing music with over 3 decades of professional road work which has resulted in 17 albums thus far, international radio airplay, and many award accolades including the prestigious Wrangler Western Heritage Award, 2X Saskatchewan Roots Artist, and multiple Alberta Arts Awards. Eli offers a fresh take on traditional western, folk & bluegrass gospel music, her original songs take you to the places that she writes about.   She has also recently added professional artist, new author and the owner of the Prairie Girl Gallery to her creative portfoilio.   Eli’s husband John Cunningham often joins Eli on stage with his steady upright bass playing and supportive lead & harmony vocals.
