Colt Blankman

Colt Blankman started performing cowboy poetry at the age of 8 at the CVCR.  Now 16, he’s had the opportunity to perform at different gatherings and venues around the country. He loves mechanics, shooting, wagon trains, and hunting. He’s a member of the High School Rodeo Association as a shooter in rifle and trap.  He was the IWMA nominee for the Liz Masterson Crescendo Award in 2021  and 2022 and for Cowboy Poetry CD of the Year in 2021.  He was the 2019 Sue Wallis and Rod McQueary scholarship recipient.
